Classic Family Garden

This beautiful Victorian house in Northwood began life in 1905 as the home of a respected Artist and had been in disrepair for many years. The new owners carefully brought it back to life and tastefully extended it. We were commissioned to create a garden that reflected both the history and romantic feel it once had, whilst incorporating modern day family needs.

With much of the garden completely overgrown and unusable, and with many dead and decaying tree’s and shrubs, we carefully set about removing all but the Magnolia, Arbutus and Acer tree’s to provide our blank canvas.

Now the private and elegant hideaway from a busy main road, this garden is once again filled with new mature trees’, carefully clipped Buxus and Taxus hedging, Wisteria, Roses and many beautiful cottage garden Perennials.

The grand entrance now a stunning courtyard area, leads you through to the main patio, raised hardwood deck and lower lawn.
